Ok; Jarrad (spelling correct!), I'll take your point that it is MY
opinion. Second, you are grabbing at straws to interpret Lev. 18:22 and
20:13 the way you did. Actual interpretation would be that two persons
not have sexual relations as two persons of the opposite sex would. I
do NOT embrace Lesbianism or homosexuality. Understand i am not
condemning gays (from a person standpoint), i am condemning the
homosexual lifstyle practiced by persons. I go by (again, Biblical) love
the sinner but hate sin. So, Jarrad; i accept you as a person and a
fellow human being entitled to the very same rights I enjoy. What I
condemn is homosexuality (the lifestyle). I hope this gives you a better
understanding of where I actually stand. i think you'll find that my
thoughts on homosexuality just a little different from those that also
condemn homosexuals (the person AND lifestyle).
A last point, just because we are sinners it does NOT give us the right
to continue to sin as whether Christian or not, God punishes/chastises
sinners. Being atheist, you probably don't find this statement
acceptable; but also understand that I am an open-minded person and DO
listen and hopefully present thoughtful responses no matter who i am
dealing with or their lifestyle.
