Let us pretend, for a moment, that I do believe in God. Aren't many
people with defects, both mentally and physically, born that way? I do
seem to remember reading somewhere in lev. that people with defects are
also "abominations". Should they also be killed? Since many of them WERE
born that way, didn't God actually make a mistake? Or is it that he has
no say in what someone is born like.... perhaps it's GENETICS which
decides how one is born. Since God would have no say in genetics, then
he had nothing to do with a person with a defect being born with that,
nor would he have had anything to do with me being born a homosexual.
Therefore, although he still says that I should be killed (or WILL be
killed, actually) and people with defects should be killed, he had no
say in the matter, and therefore did not make a mistake. However, he is
punishing us for something which we have no control over. What a loving
and caring god he is.
