    Well, I realize that's the way it is on the Next Generation but I
    was refering to the old series.  As crummy as the special effects
    were the togetherness more than made up for it.  I think the thing
    was that they were honestly grateful to be in a hit series with a
    cult following and were genuinely having fun doing the show.
    These new shows are just the opposite.  The special effects are
    superb but the characters look like they're straining to get along
    in real life.  Everyone seems so reserved.

³JBέ        undergoing negotiations with the show's writers.         ³
³JBέ        Hopefully the show will improve next season!             ³

    If you recall, this is the very same thing that happened to ST:TNG
    around the second season and from it came a shuffling around of
    the characters and then the good shows started rolling in.  I
    think it'll work.
