        Nah, I think the story is that because it is all serrated
and vicious, that when it gets that snazzy rip-ish effect thing that it
blows the spellcaster's concentration.  Anyways, I think it says that in the description for the
magebane...about the being able to disturb spellcasting, or whatever. I
just pity them in that no one I have talked to liked it at all.
