Steve, I've stuck with the 800 access (matter of fact I cancelled by discount
plan with the phone company!). The line seems to be better most of the time
--fewer delays and less garbage. It's not 100% clean, but I sense an
improvement. The only thing which bothers me is that when signing off I seldom
get the last digit of the connect time message (from this logon: Connect time =
0:0). Something must be cutting off too fast?
