FO>Your death or the monster's death is the entire point of raising health.
FO>Thank you for proving my point for me. Anyhow, if you script you'd be
FO>much better off resting 30% of the time as opposed to 40%, because thats
FO>10% of the time you spend sitting there making no exp when you could be
FO>getting some exp. I really can't believe you kept 80 health until that
FO>level ;) What do you rest, like 4/16 with a quest ring on? ;) You're
FO>missing about 25 hps and you should be resting 6/20 at level 20 with a
FO>quest ring. Health is the make-or-break stat for nearly any character.
FO>I've been a ninja for more than half of my MajorMUD life, but hey, who
FO>trusts the experienced guys anyhow
Raising health to the next bonus lvl doesn't mean you'll get a resting
bonus. My lvl 17 ranger has rested the same since lvl 13, when he had
70 health. He has 80 now, and still rests 4/16 with out rapid healing.
I never rest without rapid healing, so I don't really care.. With rhel
I rest a 10/30. My lvl 10 mage with 80 health rests a 4/16 as well, so
its more dependant on lvl than health.
Health is not a make or break stat all the time though. There is a
certain thing to be said for putting cps to other stats so you can kill
stuff before it can hurt you a whole lot, kind of like what mages do.
