I think the 98 Trans Ams are a lot better deal than the Camaro, same
engine, and if you change the intake and the exhaust, same hp with
better airflow.
I think Chevrolet should rename the Trans Am and the Corvette, or at
least give them subtitles (e.g. SLP's Firehawk). A lot of people like me
won't buy a Trans Am just because whenever you tell someone you drive a
Trans Am they automatically think Smokey and the Bandit 1975 455 T/A
with big flaming chicken on the hood, and the Corvette is much the same.
Whenever anyone says Corvette to me I think 1983 black Corvette blasting
AC/DC and stopped at a road block. It's like dating a beautiful girl
named Bertha.
Chev's been refining these cars for years now to put them in the upper
echilons of performance sports cars, but sadly named them after cars
synonomous with screeching tires, white trash and poor repair records.
