DS>I don't necessarily agree with that. Seeing as I'm the ninja beeing
DS>discussed here, I may as well add to it. First off, untill level 21 I
DS>had under 80 health. This was not a problem so anyone saying that health
DS>is the make-or-break stat for a ninja is wrong. A long while back, I had
DS>intended to raise int and I did, raising it from 65 to 70. My crits
DS>jumped a HUGE ammount at this point (3 or 4% higher than on the previous
DS>level). Since I already have 100 agi and 80 health, I plan to raise str
DS>to 80 by level 24 and then jack int all the way to 100. This leaves
DS>charm and wisdom at the racial minimum (uh oh). Charm I couldn't care
DS>less about because by level 22 I'll have perfect stealth while heavy and
DS>anything past that is overkill. Also, I figure raising int will increase
DS>crits more than increasing charm. As for the "invisible ac" that charm
DS>gives, if it's invisible, then I'm not going to worry about it because
DS>it will never show itself anyways. Not raising wisdom is obvious. I dont
DS>regret anything I've done with my char and I've had 70 int since like
DS>level 15 or so. Those extra crits really do help when it's either your
DS>death or the monster's death in the next round of a fight.
DS>Night EstMortuus
Your death or the monster's death is the entire point of raising health.
Thank you for proving my point for me. Anyhow, if you script you'd be
much better off resting 30% of the time as opposed to 40%, because thats
10% of the time you spend sitting there making no exp when you could be
getting some exp. I really can't believe you kept 80 health until that
level ;) What do you rest, like 4/16 with a quest ring on? ;) You're
missing about 25 hps and you should be resting 6/20 at level 20 with a
quest ring. Health is the make-or-break stat for nearly any character.
I've been a ninja for more than half of my MajorMUD life, but hey, who
