Keith - if I read your message right, then the answer is yes... you can open a
path to another device from within a device driver.
However, don't do so within the driver's INIT routine, because the device table
is incomplete at the time, and can get screwed up on many versions of os9/osk.
I assume this is for a BBS thingie? - kev
