Paul - let me go check out some prices on the other nets... also you might ask
the same Q in ATARIPRO or ATARIARTS forums.

In the meantime, $400-500 is about right for a 1meg ST with monitor.  Since I'm
pretty sure you can use (or build a tiny circuit to use) the CM-8 with it, then
definitely get the monochrome monitor... it gives a sharp 640x400 screen.

Again, let me check - there may be deals including hard disks around. - kev
