Ok im a lvl 26 gnome ranger with 53/2 ac and have 257 hps i soloed the
unicorn and had 105 hps to spare so its between the mino chief and the
cyclops as far as tuffness. i had to kill 5 unicorns before i got a
horn.
just at a quick glance the horn looks to be as good as my skull sword.
appeares to back stab the same and looks to be about same speed i hope
that helps some of you and i killed 5 and went from high neut to
criminal. so not too bad on the evil points.
Also a sub note ive got a lot of bunk info on new area so here is some
things i know for a fact or at least very close.
1>Eye of beholder dosen't heal you if you eat it it lets you see
  hideing players for about 2 min. like eagle helm.
2>honey comb when eating dosen't change stats even though it says blah
  blah more powerfull. i ate mine and fought the cyclops it appeared to
  reduce the damage i took from the cylclops.
3> you dont die if you eat the green licthen it makes you stumble around
   and confused but you appear to hit better after you eat it and it
   last fr like 5-10 min.
P.S. any of you have info on brown nuts or fruit could you send it my
