MR>QU> I was just wondering EXACTLY what Charm does, I'm a L17 Dwarf Druid
MR>QU>with 30 (ugh!) charm and I was wondering if it did anything except
MR>QU>helping with buying/selling and monsters wacking you. Is it worth it for
MR>QU>me to pump it up any?
MR>It helps the right hand stats, and is a complete waste of very much
MR>needed cps for any non-sneaking druid, and still pretty wasteful for
MR>sneakers. I got my gnome druid to level 25 before I rerolled him, and
MR>didnt even think about touching charm once the whole time, and my stats
MR>still were low. In short, druids need WAY too many stats to afford the
MR>luxury of charm :)

MY god man, where did you get this info? Have you EVER played a
character with high charm? (over 70) If you did you'd totally take back
what you just said and extol the virtues of charm. :)
Lemme tell you a bit of the things charm does :)
1) Raises every single stat on the right hand side. (which is awesome
for anyone, especially sneakers)
2) changes selling prices (duh)
3) dramatically improves backstabs
4) helps sneaking a LOT
5) you get hit less when in the room with companions with lower charm
(and since everyone out there is ignorant to the values of charm, they
usually DO have lower than you)
6) adds invisible AC when you get past 50 charm. (it does reduce damage
and % of times you get hit)
7) And people with high charm have a "lucky" character. There's little
things that depend on charm, and you'll basically lead a charmed life.
try playing a guy with 70-80 charm and you'll see it rocks :)
