subject: rangers vs. ninja

FO>Yes, I am saying that a player should wait several millions of
FO>experience later to take advantage, and aid their Enhanced Criticals.
FO>Mainly because the enhanced criticals take care of themselves and you
FO>really can't do any damage if you swing 1's and crit 24%. Like i said,
FO>health and agility should be raised first. I can back this up with
FO>statistics if you'd like ;)
I don't necessarily agree with that. Seeing as I'm the ninja beeing
discussed here, I may as well add to it. First off, untill level 21 I
had under 80 health. This was not a problem so anyone saying that health
is the make-or-break stat for a ninja is wrong. A long while back, I had
intended to raise int and I did, raising it from 65 to 70. My crits
jumped a HUGE ammount at this point (3 or 4% higher than on the previous
level). Since I already have 100 agi and 80 health, I plan to raise str
to 80 by level 24 and then jack int all the way to 100. This leaves
charm and wisdom at the racial minimum (uh oh). Charm I couldn't care
less about because by level 22 I'll have perfect stealth while heavy and
anything past that is overkill. Also, I figure raising int will increase
crits more than increasing charm. As for the "invisible ac" that charm
gives, if it's invisible, then I'm not going to worry about it because
it will never show itself anyways. Not raising wisdom is obvious. I dont
regret anything I've done with my char and I've had 70 int since like
level 15 or so. Those extra crits really do help when it's either your
death or the monster's death in the next round of a fight.
