Paul,

The word seems to be out (at least on the Internet) that the 'up-the-sleeve'
deal you mentioned would be that IMS will be releasing the MM/1 in kit form,
initially  to get the ball rolling.

What are the details on that plan? How much of a savings over the constructed
unit? What is provided (case? power supply? etc.)

I'm sure folks would be curious ....
