To the best of my knowledge, "copyleft" has yet to be tested legally. It is an
attempt to further Richard Stallman's notions of intellectual property (he
thinks there's no such thing), and is typically accompanied with derogatory
labels applied to those who disagree (e.g. "software hoarders").

I'm not a lawyer, though, nor do I play one on TV. :-)  If you really want good
advice, ask a lawyer.
