I wonder if it's the combination of LINK/UNLOAD.... I believe UNLOAD is a 'zap
til gone' call (not near books at the moment), as opposed to UNLINK, which is a
'decrement link count'. Incidentally, if just attempting to link to verify
existance... nah, never mind. I was thinking of the UNLINK command, which uses
the sequence LINK, UNLINK, UNLINK. The first locates the module and sets up
pointers, the second undoes the link that was just done, and the last effects
the actual unlink.
