I've heard from some folks that at least some of the TOPS stuff is dependent on
the way things work on Atari STs (i.e. what the programmers who wrote or ported
it were using).  Initially, the TOPS people didn't send out source code, but
they may be doing that now, so it may be possible to find and correct the
problems.
