Erich;
Sounds like you're trying to 'PACK' a source file from the OS9> prompt.
To pack a file, all one need do is 'load' it into BASIC09, and type pack a
the B: prompt.
This places an executable of the source in /dd/cmds with the execute
permissions already set.
Is this what's happening??
