I have seen this syntax infrequently in college 'C' text and in source code,
but I have yet found a good explaination.

                It is in reference to pointers and I beleieve it is called
'double indirection'??? the syntax is


        char **p = & dummy or      char **match(p,name) What does the **
actually say
