Re:MOVE
I don't think there is much that can be assumed without making some programs 
difficult or impossible to write.  The only place where it would be "safe" to 
assume size would be when a variable of a specific size is accessed.  It would 
also be nice to be able to give the registers names; even a, b, c, is better 
than 0, 1, 2.
 
On another note, I assume that you are writing a two-pass assembler, but are 
you making it a macro assembler?  If so, then are you going to put the code 
in-line or in subroutines?
