Jack - been meaning to jump in here, but haven't had the time yet!

But yes, being able to assign a name to a register in sections of the source
would be nice.... a friend and I were just talking about wanting this the other
day.

We had a routine using a bunch of the 68K registers, and even with comments, it
got tough to follow which reg was which (and woe if you change some! ;-).
