Jack:

The C Users Group has a 68000 assembler written in C (CUG disk #190), with C
source code included.  I think they get $5.00/disk?  I suggest picking up a
copy of the "C Users Journal" at your local book store (I found it at a
Waldens) for more information.  For $5.00 I don't see how you can go wrong and
it might shed some light on your problems and keep you from having to re-invent
the wheel.
