Jim -

I wouldn't say that you wouldn't learn anything - on the contrary... looking at
someone else's (good) code is often the best tutorial there is. Don't forget
that DOS mechanisms for getting date and such will be different than in os9.

The best tool for sharpening your C skills is a flat nose.. the one you get
from falling on your face from trying, and retrying to get code to compile and
work. Take it from someone who took years to break the C-phobia (83-86). There
is just no substitute for writing volumes of code.
