Pete,
       Yes, more and more that sounds like the way to go. Too make it really
bullet proof I think the program will have to have the ability to recover from
a crash and carry on as if nothing happened,( other than noteing and keeping on
file the time(s) that the computer had to reboot).
    Have you given any thought about putting your GIMIX too work in a strickly
home control situation. I remember you played around with those power control
modules a while ago.
    I have been following the articles on the CEBus(EIA Home Automation
Standard), that have been appearing in Circuit Cellar Ink, and I am really
excited about the possibilities that this standard will bring about. I think
Microware should be trying to get OS9(k) embedded into this system, talk about
making OS9 a household word.
