Hmm - how are you creating the file? My autoexec.bat and config.sys files don't
have CTRL Z's in them. Are you using 'copy con: filename.ext'? Are you using
edlin? These might be culprits (dunno if EDLIN appends CTRL Z or not...I just
tried it, and it does appear to, as you have to use a CTRL Z to get out of
insert mode). Enjoy the parties... I have to go tree shopping later m'self.
