Pete,

Is there any magic to the F$CpyMem call?

I've been trying to write a basic program - using syscall - that scans memory
in search of data, make that, lost data - when I forget to name a Dynastar
file and then back out of the program without saving the buffer.

I can get the basic program to work, sort of. But all it grabs is multiple
copies of one particular block. Or a few system blocks... When I force the
program to look for absurdly high block numbers (above 48), I catch a few more,
but they're scattered all over creation and repeat as many as 200 times.

I set D to the block number (from 0 to 48 since I have 192K), X to 0 since I
want the whole block from the beginning; Y to 4096 since I want the whole block
and U to the address of the 4K buffer I've set up in basic. Shouldn't that
work?

Wendell
