I personally use telemate all the time, its a great program, I've
written tons of scripts for it, BUT: i use qm for scripting in mmud :)
Telemate has a severe problem with the GET script command.  At 2400 and
9600 you don't notice it, but above those speeds, it is no longer
reliable; it misses characters frequently, and strpos can't test
anything because the buffer fills up too fast.  It does work half the
time, but the errors are enough to warrant using something else.
Btw, I emailed telemate's author about the problem, and his response was
that yes the command has a problem with its buffer, he extended it in
the last version, but there is "no simple fix" he says, which means to
me he has no intention of fixing it anytime soon. :)
