Kinda makes you wonder why the japanese are so quick to buy up american
businesses then. Apparently they think there is something of worth to
be had. ex. Bridgestone buying Firestone in '92. Firestone had already
established itself as a quality tire manufacture and service center
world wide giant based in the states, but Bridgestone knew if it wanted
to increase its states based tire sales, they had to at least appear
somewhat american. (Firestone indy tires are made in japan btw, but
according to the comercials Firestone is america's tire. Before i get
any remarks, the indylight tires are produced in ohio, but they aren't
the speedway tires. Go figure)
