hi pete,
      here is the new version of the same problem(C 'getime',remember?)

ti=0; { getime(&buffer); ti=atoi(buffer.t_second); printf("   "%u%u,ti); } it
still gives me 0 when i run it! what am i doing wrong?(besides trying to swim
with cement shoes!:-)
