Why, exactly, does os9 use the stepper motor in the drives much more than the
familar Disk Basic Dos system. I am getting familar with os9 and am finally
understanding it a little better. It seems to take a lot longer to load
programs in because of the searching of the step motor. Would a hard drive step
just as much? thanks, Denise
