Yeah, it's safe...after all, the project seems to be finished .

What would be nice for problems like this is some way to find the current
status of the path desc. for a running program. Has anyone written something
like that?

You asked if I was comfortable with the fix: Yes, seems to have fixed the
problem. BTW, I noticed in the docs for ptyman that echo is delibertly _not_
done on read(). Anyone have any idea why that would be done...esp. since I have
"fixed" that.

Oh, Steve, on the lf problem with stermpro (didn't even know that really
existed )...ummm, does it happen with the latest version of screen/ptyman I
sent you? And I assume that it doesn't happen under a real terminal.
