  Your right, I was setting Wpath=STDOUT while STDOUT was defined with #define
STDOUT  1
  Now I'm not sure what you are doing.

  If after this:
    #define STDOUT  1

  Are you saying to do this:
    FILE  * Wpath;
    Wpath = STDOUT;
