Kev, IMHO, hacking the "stock" F$PrsNam would not be a terrific idea, and even
replacing it via OS9P3 might not even be too swift. I've seen programs that use
F$PrsNam for other things besides path names. Maybe just change "rename" to
allow nonstandard file names for the orignal file? Bill
