I might ask someone their opinion to see how they think, or to get a new
perspective, or possibly a working idea. I find that in a working relation-
ship, that if co-workers are involved in the decision making process, it
makes it easier to problem solve and everyone feels good about being asked
to participate. But key to this whole opinion thing is, if you asked for
it, then you must be prepared to listen to it. This is where most people
get into trouble, they just don't listen but want to be listened to.
And there's no maybe about it, IMHO, you're different!:)
