Yes! Yes! I have driven on a part of that route, but nt the full 49
miles, at least I dont think I did. I see that infamous sign whenever I
drive to North Beach Pizza. :>

Where in the Bay area do you live? We have hail here on ocassion and
even more rarely, we see snow falling, but it doesn't stick. usually the
temps are over 40F and the snow falls as slush and melts upon impact.
The last time we had accumulated snow in the San fernando valley was in
1989 when some areas had 6"! I still have the local newspapers from that
event. The headline reads: SNOW STUNS SOUTHLAND: Heaviest Flurries in 40
years. :>
