Ian,

The problem with Sterm breaking out when you are prompted for a filename is due
to setting the screen parameters back normal (meaning turning on break again)
to allow SCF to echo charcters and allow command line editing while inputting
the filename.  The actual code has not changed from several versions back.

What I need to do is change things around so the echoing an editing features of
SCF can still be used, but the break and abort signals are still disabled.
