havent played one past 12, and didnt have the flamer, but i saw someone
else on the board at level 15 use the katana and use the flamer... and
they prefered katana... this was in earlier versions however, i think
1.1d, if that makes any difference.  my warlock was a dark elf so...
katana seemed more useful...
