Steve,

I did download the lastest utilities you uploaded.  What I get is "skipping"
during the playback.  Now, whether that is due to the record or the playback
utility I have no way of knowing.  In either case, I suspect it is due to my
rather slow hard disk, only about 300KB a sec on writes and about 700KB a sec
on reads.  I'll try it again with the parameters you gave and see what happens.
