I've noticed that the weather maps are a strange size. Some of the viewers I've
used on other machines have similar problems trying to scale the picture to
match the screen, others seem to figure it out. Maybe the addition of the VGA
mode means they will start providing higher resolution, and standard sized,
pictures.
