Scott,

OS9 is a multi-user, multi-tasking realtime operating system developed by
Microware for Motrola processors (6809, and 68xxx). OS9 is a lot like Unix,
only better, IMO. OS9 is used quite a bit in embedded systems, a notable
example is the Phillip's CDI player, which uses a modified version of OS9. For
a lot more information, check out OS9FAQ.TXT in LIB 1.
