Lydia,
       Good armor for a Mystic is few and far between.  However, while
you attempt to acquire said gloves and any of Guardian Golem's items you
can swing, grab a set of gilded robes, elven cloak, and winged sandals.
Outside of that, not much better than whats in silvermere that isn't
limited.  If you can, get a set of black silk for when you turn level
25, and try to get demonhide bracers for 20th.  Oh yeah, also, get a set
of adamantite bracers if you can.
