       I have run numerous tests with and without the cat's-eye pendant
and everyone of them shows a flat 2% increase in criticals, whereas my
ruby necklace (I never tested it at early levels) currently gives me a
1% increase in accuracy.  Given that I average about 22 points per hit,
and 48 points per crit (Jumpkick, level 25), I think the extra 96 points
every 100 swings is way better than an extra 22 points every 100 swings.
       I do recall however seeing a VERY noticeable difference (never
analyzed it though) in my combat at early levels with the ruby necklace
which leads me to believe its effect tapers off as your abilities
increase... shrug.
