Yah, you specify frequency in Hz.  I think the range is about 3Khz to 40Khz.
There seems to be a bug where if you pick a too high freq (or too low?) then
snddrv crashes tho .  No biggie, just be aware :-)

Snddrv will look up the closest timer frequency to the one you pass (usually
the timer can get with a few tens of Hz) that can be used on the hardware. Ugh,
terrible sentence.
