This is the kind of msg i hate.  Yes mages are powerful at higher lvls,
not many ppl realize this as its been a while now that many low lvl
mages are now high lvl mages and after ppl have witnesss their
destructive power they complain about how powerful they are. I'm a lvl
31 mage and I'm would never say mages are the best.  You are comparing
mages to other class for one instance ..mage walks into room cast room
attack kills 3 players..i mean who cant do that? i can see the same
situation working for druids..druids walks in cast room attack..other 3
players are on 1 hp..they all die :).  As you can see, not a very good
example to say mages are powerful.  Of all the classes i hate figthing a
witchie toe-toe (meaning small arena). Not many ppl play a witchie well,
they play their witchies like a warrior, if you want a witchie that can
beat spellcasters boost up your wisdom.  I know many ppl will say
witchies are warriors and thats how they are meant to play, but with a
high wisdom, its next to impossible for a spellcaster to win.
I think the real reason  why so many witchies (many?) are complaining is
coz they dont get magical weapons and now that other classes like
warriors get lots of new items in mod2,  they think they are losing out.
Dont get me wrong, witchies are still quite powerful, but just coz they
got knocked down the scale from god-like, a tad, they going to complain.
P.S Every class is fine as it is.
