GA>DO>The NSX is merely the most acclaimed..
GA>Yes it is, and has been for the whole decade. And why do you think it's
GA>so acclaimed? Because it's turn signal flasher emits a more satisfying-
GA>sounding click than the Corvette's? like everyone else here too!> At least part of you would seriously
GA>answer "yes", so in advance, I'll say "guess again". It's because it's
GA>the best of the best, regardless of numbers. If you think nationality
GA>has anything to do with it, then another example would be the 300ZX
GA>Turbo, which also had the slowest numbers and was the oldest design, yet
GA>stayed king of Japanese sports cars, after VR-4, after RX-7, after Supra
GA>Turbo. Nothing could touch it, much less the C4.
GA>The 97 Corvette is just as acclaimed as the NSX anyway. But a big part
GA>of that hype comes from sympathy, because the old one was so much worse.
GA>Granted, it's a good, true sports car now, but everyone's been praising
GA>it for how much it has improved, even though all it's done is caught up.
GA>The hype is starting to fade already. I'm sure you got the latest issue
GA>of C&D. Read that whole 1/4th of a page on how they talk about how much
GA>its handling sucks.

"Ther best of the best" should read "My o[[inion, drawn soley from
magazines, is that it is the best."
I'm sorry, in my books, the Dodge Viper with better numbers all around
is the best of the best. *I* happen toi think it looks better than the
NSX, and as proven, it out performs it in every category. The only
thing you can say for the NSX is "people say it 'drives' better."
Nonsense.
