In Colorado, where I just moved from :( , there is a scenic road there called
the "Peak to Peak Highway."  It is one of the most beautiful drives in
Colorado, especially when the aspens are changing.
The Peak to Peak Highway also has the distinction of being the highest paved
road in the world (somewhere around 12,000 feet).
