Erich,

What sort of problems are you having with Sterm?  You say it won't work with
your modem.  What doesn't work?  Sterm itself knows nothing about and doesn't
care about modems.  All it does is open the port.  If something is not working
it is probably your serial port and/or driver.  If you can give some details
maybe we can help. Mark
