Well - #214 is a permission error.

Does rebooting help? Also - is there a H0 or DD descriptor permanently setup
with those parameters (cyls, heads, etc.)?

Also - try a simple DUMP of H0@. Snag the first couple sectors to a floppy or
printer, and we'll have a look at the LSN0 information.
