Actually, Saavik is from Star Trek (the movies). Saavik is a Vulcan
Romulan hybrid who Spock has kind of taken under his Vulcan wing. 
She is a first LT on the Enterprise.
 
I'm a trekkie so I chose the name as my handle. It's kind of become my 
nickname too.
