Not an unreasonable worry, but the fact is that when the rates were cut to
28% under Reagan the percentage of total tax revenues paid by the upper
middle class and wealthy went UP not down.  When you lower the top marginal
rate revenues go up.  Not because the poor are paying more, but because the
upper middle class and rich end up paying more total dollars on higher
levels of reported income.  Of course upper middle class to me is RICH to
democraps and statisticians.  Anyone making more than $100k is rich to
them. Bill Gates, the Kennedys, Donald Trump are the RICH to me.   RICH
might
start at a net worth of around $50 million and an annual income of at least
$1 Million on top of that, and remember I said *might start*.
